July Prayerlink

AFRICA REGION

Tue 1. Augustine – Togo

In the last 3 months, funeral ceremonies have provided a platform for sharing the gospel message with a large number of people. For example, we recently preached the gospel message to about 2,000 people gathered at a funeral in Djidjolé, a neighborhood of Lomé. Thank God for the 90 people who responded to the invitation and received Jesus as their Savior.

Wed 2. Kouevi – Togo

The drug addict with whom I often shared the gospel had sworn never to confess the Lord as his Savior. But he has become a fervent Christian today following the miraculous healing from a prolonged illness that the Lord worked in his life. Thank God for His visitation in mercy.

Thu 3. Umaru – Sierra Leone

I was invited to a campus program where I was given an opportunity to make a statement. In my message, I focused on the need for each person to accept the Lord’s offer of salvation and uphold integrity. I challenged all present—students, staff, and well-wishers. I thank God for the opportunity to share the gospel message with new students and the staff. Pray that the fruit of this ministry may become evident in the coming days.

Fri 4. Chizoba – Plateau, Nigeria

Thank God for the success of two Evangelistic Outreaches which we organized at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. We shared the gospel message with about 250 students, with 17 of them receiving the Lord as their Savior. Also, during a village outreach held in Kaduna State, we ministered to 459 people and, to God’s glory, 86 made decisions for Christ.

Community Outreach – Kaduna, Nigeria

Sat 5. Nelito – Mozambique

Thank God for seven people from two families who recently received Christ as their Savior and for the burning hunger for God that three of these people have. Their hunger has been a great encouragement to me. The Lord has also opened wide the door of ministry to the unreached through deliverance ministry. When people invite us to pray for them, we use the occasion to share the gospel message with them. Thank God for some people who have thus received both physical and spiritual deliverance.

Sun 6. Gnangore – Ethiopia

Formerly, AN struggled with alcohol and tobacco addiction. The community was well aware of his addiction. I repeatedly tried to share the message of Jesus with him in various circumstances. One day, he came to my village and asked me about Jesus. I shared the gospel with him again, and he accepted the Lord Jesus and has been freed from the bondage of his addictions. Thank God for giving him new life to enjoy.

Mon 7. YLM – Horn of Africa

Thank God for opening the door of ministry in a country in the Horn of Africa. I was recently invited to minister there. My airfare and nine days' stay in the hotel were funded locally. Thank God for protection during the visit, especially when I was detained for no stated reason but was later released.

Tue 8. Daniel – Ethiopia

Jare was ill for more than two years. She had given up any hope of living, but then, in her dream, she saw the Lord who assured her that the disease was not unto death, but a means to bring her to salvation. She came to the church immediately and accepted the Lord into her life. She was healed of her sickness. When she faced serious persecution from cultists, she left the faith but fell ill again. Thank God that she returned to faith and this time, despite renewed persecution, she has remained resolute, enduring days of hiding in the forest. She was recently baptized and is receiving support and close discipleship.

Wed 9. Kossivi – Togo

Bernard is a 32-year-old man married with two children. He became mentally ill for months and, because he was violent, he was put in chains. During a door-to-door evangelism, he was presented to us for prayers. To God's glory, we prayed, and he was completely delivered. We give glory to God for His healing power. Please pray for Bernard’s establishment in the faith.

Thu 10. Talargachew – Ethiopia

I have visited different mission stations and conducted continuous training for missionaries. I also shared the Gospel in different mission stations during my field visits. Thank God for six people who received the Lord during my visits. I thank God for giving me the privilege to observe God's transformative power in the lives of both long-time believers and recent converts. These individuals are actively sharing their faith and bringing others to village churches for prayers and to experience the life-changing power of Jesus Christ.

Fri 11. Vicky – Bamatu Project, DR Congo

The trades (sewing, baking, cooking, literacy, etc.) that vulnerable girls learn at the Bamatu center have changed the lives of many of them. They have become useful in society and are able to generate enough income to take charge of their lives. Thank God for His intervention in their lives. Unfortunately, we recently lost Sister Geneviève Mujinga, a teacher at the center. Please pray for the Lord’s comfort for us and her family.

Sat 12. Rachael – Kenya

We continue with neighborhood evangelism every Sunday and whenever the Lord gives us the opportunity. We thank the Lord for 20 people who came to faith during the quarter. In one of the houses where we evangelized, Bible study has been going on regularly and we hope that it will become a house church as we continue teaching them. Please pray that the Lord may draw more people to Himself and join the group.

Sun 13. Phumlani – S. Africa

Thank God for the success of the three-day community outreach services we conducted in Gingindlovu and for 34 people who gave their lives to Christ. Pray for effective follow-up of the new believers, for the establishment of Sunday School classes, and for the training of Sunday School teachers.

Mon 14. Dennis Ochieng – Kenya

Thank God for His intervention in the life of 15-year-old YB who just decided not to go to school for no reason. His mother came with him for prayers. We prayed and the boy was delivered and was able to sit for the national exam. Thank God for giving us insight to identify the subtle demonic attack on YB.

Tue 15. Francois – Burkina Faso

Co-facilitated a missionary conference bringing together 590 youth from seven Francophone West African countries. Apart from various teachings and Bible study, participants ministered to the sick, prisoners, and internally displaced persons, and 80 people donated blood. Thank God for 15 people who confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior during our ministry and about 100 conferees who committed themselves to support the mission in schools and universities.

Thank you for praying for Worldlink during the month of June for our fiscal year end matching challenge. We look forward to informing you of all the God has provided through the generous giving of donors of Worldlink. We are grateful for your partnership!

SOUTH ASIA REGION

Thu 17. Bijay - India

I now focus on teenagers and children. Thank God for two teenagers who recently came to faith in the Lord and were baptized. One of them, Laxmi, a Hindu, was possessed by evil spirits. When under the oppression of evil spirits, she would experience unusual bodily movements and visible changes in her appearance. Thank God for delivering her fully after she expressed her faith in the Lord. Pray for her steady growth in faith.

Fri 18. K.S., India

We recently visited a family who had distanced themselves from the church. They currently do not fellowship with any church and have become dependent on alcohol. Our team visited them to offer support in their spiritual growth and encourage them to connect with the local church. Please pray for their full restoration. We also shared the gospel with a woman we met in the family’s home. She showed keen interest in our message. Pray that she may soon come to faith in our Lord. Pray also that the transformative power of the Lord may impact the entire village. Many in the village struggle with alcoholism.

Sharing the Gospel

Sat 19. Parimala - India

We conducted street evangelism in two locations and participated in a Five-Day Outreach Program. In addition to preaching the gospel message, we shared our testimonies and distributed Bibles. Thank God for 5 people who received the Lord as their Savior.

Sun 20. Ajay – India

Mr. Paren backslid over a decade ago. He engaged in extramarital affairs and became addicted to alcohol. I recently had the privilege to visit him and share God’s word with him. Thank God that after a few visits, he repented of his sins and was fully restored to the Lord. His family is also restored and is actively participating in the local church ministry.

EAST ASIA REGION

Mon 21. Van – Myanmar

I praise the Lord for adding two souls to our house church. They come to church regularly. They have learned to pray and read the Bible. Pray for steady growth in their spiritual lives. They often face challenges from their neighbors for converting to Christianity. Our prayer is that God will keep them faithful, all opposition notwithstanding.

Tue 22. NIV – West Asia

Thank the Lord for opening many doors for His service and granting me the boldness to share the gospel with others. He is planting my feet steadily and granting me wisdom and discernment to do His work. For example, when LG randomly stopped me on the street to ask if she could practice her English, I willingly obliged, but when I noticed that she wanted some other information, I steered the conversation toward God instead and clearly shared the gospel as the Lord enabled me. I also prayed for her afterward. It was a long and meaningful time. I praise the Lord for His wisdom and grace.

Wed 23. Ngo - Myanmar

Kyaw was a Buddhist. A church member brought him to our church. I shared the gospel message and prayed with him. He accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior a month and a half after this first meeting. He is now committed to the churchfellowship. Thank God for revealing Himself to him. Pray, as we minister to the family members, that they all may soon come to faith in our Lord.

Thu 24. Sangha – Cambodia

Our focus during the quarter was on 15 students in our Discipleship training program. Apart from lectures, we engage them in short-term outreach and evangelism in the village, offer healing prayers, and participate in community service. During one of our outreaches, we ministered to a young man who had been under satanic oppression for 23 years. He had been taken to many clinics and witch doctors without success. The Lord heard our prayers and delivered him completely, after which the family committed their lives wholly to the Lord. Thank God for restoring full life—physical, emotional, and spiritual—to the young man and his family.

Celebrating God’s deliverance – Cambodia

Fri 25. Chho – Myanmar

We shared the gospel message with 40 people during the quarter. Kyaw Mg, one of the four people who came to faith in Christ and were baptized, was born into a Christian family. However, he did not fully understand the gospel until our recent outreach program. Now he is rejoicing in his newfound faith. Pray that he may grow in grace and in the knowledge of God’s word.

Sat 26. Zaw - Myanmar

I baptized a Buddhist man after preaching to him for several months. Thank God for touching his heart and drawing him to Himself. Now he regularly attends church services, and I am teaching him how to pray, read the Bible, and serve the Lord.

Sun 27. PC-Vietnam

thank God for the opportunity to share Christ with 13 people in my hometown. I truly believe He is at work in their hearts, because His word never returns void. Every Saturday, we host a fellowship dinner at my house as a way to reach out to our neighbors—building friendships, deepening trust, and creating space to share the love of Christ with them.

AMERICAS REGION

Mon 28. Zenaido - Mexico

Thank God for three new families who recently joined the church. Thank God for improvement in our ministry to families and hospital evangelism. One of the five people who came to faith during the quarter is a young boy who is praying that his family members will soon come to faith too. Please join him in this prayer.

Tue 29. Dan - Mexico

We held a Congress for Children where we had the opportunity to share our vision and the work we do in the country with children, leaders, pastors, and members of local churches. We also held an evangelistic event with the children of a community in Juárez. The 30 children in attendance heard the gospel message through sports and puppetry. Thank God for 4 children who came to faith in the Lord.

Children Congress - Mexico

Wed 30. Paul - Haiti

Our team of evangelists went on a four-day mission to Bayturib. While they were evangelizing the people, they met a woman who was paralyzed because a demon had enslaved her to serve him. The team took the time to share the good news with her. After she gave her life to Jesus Christ, they prayed earnestly on her behalf, and God answered and delivered her. Thank God for releasing her from the bondage of Satan.

Thu 31. Vergina - Belize

A teenager’s life was transformed when he accepted Christ as his Savior. His mom is a believer, but the boy preferred to follow his friends until one night, while out with a friend, they were involved in an accident. He learned from the incident that life is fragile and gave his life to the Lord. He is a happy person today, active for the Lord as an instrumentalist in the church. Thank God for protecting him and revealing Himself through the accident experience.
