After I wrote Reachable, I saw the eager acceptance of indigenous missionary partnerships within a group of Christians who already had an understanding of the privilege and responsibility of sharing the love of God and Good News of Jesus with those who had never had the opportunity to hear, understand and respond to it. But, I realized, in church after church, conference after conference, conversation after conversation, that a good number of Christians, even committed and passionate ones, where not seeking the answer to HOW to reach the world for Jesus, because they had never asked and answered the question of WHY we should reach the world for Jesus.
