April 2020 Prayerlink

So much of our world’s scarce attention span is being absorbed by the COVID-19 (COrona VIrus Disease 2019). It is understandable. We all have been making plans, executing plans, revising plans, praying for new plans. And watching as so much of what we have known becomes the unknown.

God is so much bigger than a virus!

I will be sending you a note in the next few days outlining the specific ways that our indigenous missionary partners are being ruthlessly challenged by the worldwide viral pandemic and ways you can help them prayerfully and practically. Please keep an eye open for that note.

But, for this month’s Prayerlink, we want to concentrate on good things that God is doing and remind ourselves that God is so much bigger than a virus. In fact, he will work in and through and around and in spite of all of it that is going on in today’s world.

I just got off the phone with a dear friend and Worldlink Partner who told me, “I don’t have to understand anything but God’s goodness.” Let’s look at, give thanks for, and pray about some of the ways that God is working.
