We are Seeking a
DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT
WHO WE ARE
Worldlink is a Christian ministry and our VISION is: To see God’s Good News shared with every unreached person transforming individuals and communities. In pursuing that desired outcome, our particular MISSION is: To empower indigenous missionaries to share the tangible love of God and the Good News of Jesus with the world’s least-reached people.
There are almost 8.1 billion people in our world composed of 17,280 distinct people groups. About 3.4 billion people (42% of the world’s population) in 7,189 groups would be categorized as “unreached” living with limited gospel access and little or no opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus in a location and language to which they can logically respond in saving faith and begin a life of following him. Nearly 2 billion of our world’s inhabitants live where there are no known gospel movements and less than 0.1% Christians.
Worldlink and our indigenous missionary partners are reaching these least-reached people.
A typical person reached by our indigenous missionary partners would be:
1. Unsaved - spiritually needy
2. Not apt to be reached by traditional Western missionary models
3. Culturally distant from Western Christians
4. Lives in a less-reached area without a sustained witness of the Gospel
5. Physically or emotionally suffering
We have over 2000 indigenous missionary partners in 60 countries. In the past 12 months their ministry has resulted in 1,517,460 people hearing the Good News of Jesus and, by God’s grace, 193,347 of then putting their faith in Christ. Our current Annual Income is $1.7M which all comes from the giving of individuals, churches and foundations in the USA and UK. We have seen God supply over triple the number of missionary partners and over double our yearly gift income in the past 5 years. Continuous growth in Worldlink’s ministry will necessitate continuous growth in gift income.
God is growing Worldlink’s impact! To continue, and to escalate, that growth we are growing our Valley Forge, PA based Home Team by adding a Director of Advancement.
