One out of every seven people on the planet live in India. With 1.2 billion people, the population ranks behind only China in terms of sheer numbers.
Called by God to address this situation, Worldlink is responding with the FOCUS India program. Worldlink’s strategy has always been to come alongside local Christians in the least reached areas. In 2009 the decision was made to concentrate new efforts in strategically important areas. FOCUS India is one result of that decision.
Worldlink is currently seeking stateside partners for more than 50 Indian missionaries, church planters, and evangelists These faithful brothers and sisters are carrying the gospel forward even in the face of opposition
In the late 1980's, Louis Bush coined the phrase, "THE 10/40 WINDOW". This refers to the area located from 10 degrees to 40 degrees north of the equator, which includes North Africa, the Middle East, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Cambodia, China, Thailand and several Eurasian countries.
